The new premises were officially opened on Monday 2nd October 2006 by the Mayor of Ipswich, Henry George Davis and the Mayoress, Pauline Davis with all the members of the Taste of India team present.  The ceremony began with the Mayor of Ipswich cutting the ribbon to open the premises, where everyone enjoyed a special buffet which gave a TASTE OF INDIA to all who visited.
